Posted in Fitness @ Apr 22nd 2013 2:38pm - By Exclusively You

Making the decision to lose weight can be an easy one, but knowing how often you should go to the gym might not be so easy. If you are new to fitness or weight loss you might not understand how your body loses weight and what your fitness programme should look like. Permanent weight loss occurs when you make a dedication to a healthy, well-rounded and active wholesome lifestyle that includes daily activity and clean eating.

A total 3 times per week at your local EY studio for about 45min to an hour each 30 minutes of strength training and 30 minutes cardio is the ultimate way to help reach your Fat Loss goal.

You can easily reach 3 training sessions per week by performing at least 1 personal training session with our awesome trainers to keep you on track with your weight loss goals and 2 fun classes like Boxfit, Urban or Circuit.

If you want to lose fat or change your body, one of the most important things you can do is lift weights. What goes in your mouth and cardio are equally important, but when it comes to changing how your body looks, weight training wins hands down. If you`ve hesitated to start a strength training programme, it may motivate you to know that lifting weights can:

* Help raise your metabolism because muscle burns more calories than fat, so the more muscle you have the more calories you will burn all day long.

* Strengthen bones, especially important for women

* Make you stronger and increase muscular endurance

* Help you avoid injuries

* Increase your confidence and self-esteem

* Improve coordination and balance

So take care of your body because it`s the only place you have to live.
